Every nine seconds, a student drops out.

Dropping out of high school has dramatic effects on a person’s life and future ability to support themselves and a family. There are a lot of reasons why a student would choose to drop out – some of them are sadly unavoidable. However, as educators, we should make our kids aware of just how high the cost may eventually be to them in an age when getting a job at McDonald’s is becoming competitive.
